Gauge Face Overlay
Install Instructions

Tools required:
1. Phillip screwdriver(short)
2. Scissors

*  Read instructions
    thoroughly before
    installing.
Cluster Removal

1. Separate the instrument
panel top cover by squeezing
it near each end and
pull upward. There are 5
snaps that hold it in place.


2. With a screwdriver,
remove the 2 screws from the
lower steering column cover.
The cover will swing outward
from the bottom and there
are 3 hinge points on the top
to unhook. 



3. Start detaching the
instrument cluster bezel by
removing the 2 screw from the
lower edge of the cluster.





4. Finish removing the
bezel by unscrewing the 3
screws at the top of the
instrument bezel.






5. Remove the 4 screws
holding the cluster in the
dash. After removing the
screws, pull the cluster
straight out from the dash
and unplug the 2 connectors
releasing it from the
harness.
  
General notes:
1. Pointers are NOT removed.
2. Pointers will return to
   normal positions when
   engine is started.










     
Overlay Install




1. Separate the clear lens
and the black ring bezel by
pressing in the tabs around
the clusters edge.





2. On the 2 larger faces,
peel back and snip off the
lower backing that covers
the hole where the needles
will protrude. Be sure to
leave the upper half of the
backing on the overlay for
you to hold when adjusting
the alignment on the next
step.

3. Point the needle toward
the top of the cluster and
slide the overlay down and
overthe needle. The overlay
will then slip over the
needle stop. Adjust the
alignment and press down,
adhering it to the face.
Then remove the top backing. 


4. On the 4 smaller faces,
peel back and snip off the
right side backing leaving
the other half for you to
hold while adjust the
alignment. Once aligned
press down and move the
needle to the right and
peel off the backing of
the left side of the
overlay.

5. Separate all the pointers
with the scissors. To
install peel the wide end
of the pointers backing half
way and snip off leaving you
the tip to hold. Align on the
needle hub and press lightly
down. Use a small flat blade
to readjust if slightly off.
