Tools required:
1. Phillip screwdriver(short)
2. Scissors

*  Read instructions
    thoroughly before
    installing.

Cluster Removal

1. Separate the instrument
panel top cover by squeezing
the middle vent area and
pulling upward. There are 3
snaps that hold it in place.

2. With a screwdriver,
remove the 2 screws from the
lower steering column cover.
The cover will swing forward
from the top and there are 3
hinge points on the bottom
to unhook.

3. Start detaching the
instrument cluster bezel by
removing the 2 screw from the
lower edge of the cluster.

4. Finish removing the
bezel by unscrewing the 3
screws at the top of the
instrument bezel.

5. Remove the 4 screws
holding the cluster in the
dash. After removing the
screws, pull the cluster
straight out from the dash,
releasing it from the 2 plug
connectors it is seated on.

6. Finish removing the lower
galvanized metal shield that
is held in place by 4 screws.
This step is needed later to
gain access and helps in
attaching the positive
electrical wire to the
headlight switch.

General notes:
1. Pointers are NOT removed.
2. Pointers will return to
   normal positions when
   engine is started.

Overlay Install

1. Separate the clear lens
and the black ring bezel by
pressing in the tabs around
the clusters edge.

Note: Read the following
steps completely before
continuing.

2. The needles are NOT
removed. All 6 needles must
slip through their respective
wholes at the same time. Take
your time and don’t force
them. Start by slipping the 2
larger needles through their
respective holes so just the
tips are started. This works
best to have them point
straight up toward the top of
the cluster. (12 0’clock pos)
Now, start the tips on the
left two gauges. Then, start
the tips on right gauges.

3. Once all the needles are
started, and before slipping
it down over the needle hubs,
dab some rubber cement between
the overlay and the cluster
around the two larger gauges.
This helps keep the overlay
flat on the face. The black
outer ring bezel will hold
the edges down when
reinstalled. The overlay will
then slip over the needle
stop. This step will
eliminate any needle dragging
on the overlay.

4. Separate all the pointers
with the scissors. To install
peel the wide end of the
pointers backing half way and
snip off leaving you the tip
to hold. Align on the needle
hub and press lightly down.
When finished, set the cluster
aside.

5. Using the splice connector,
connect the power supply red
positive wire to the Brown
wire behind the headlight switch.
Using the eyelet style connector,
connect the power supply ground
wire to the bolt beside the right
cluster plug in the dash. Next,
mount the remote somewhere easily
accessible to you.

6. Assemble the cluster and
reinstall it in the dash. Be
sure to turn the lights on to
check the electrical connections.

7. Assemble the dash in
reverse order of the disassembly
procedures listed in the opposite
column.
