straight outward, releasing
the snap from the dash.
4. Detach the right side of
the steering fascia in the
same manner as the left,
pulling the corner outward and
releasing the snap.

steering fascia by removing
the three screws at the
bottom.

General notes: 1. Pointers are NOT removed. 2. Pointers will return to normal positions when engine is started. |
Overlay Install 1. Separate the clear lens and the black ring bezel by pressing in the tabs around the clusters edge. 2. Start with one of the four smaller faces. Peel back and snip off the right side backing leaving the other half for you to hold while aligning the numbers in the next step. 3. Align the numbers evenly and press down, adhering it to the cluster face. Now move the needle to the right and peel off the backing of the left side of the overlay and press it firmly to the face. 4. Gently pull the top layer of transfer tape up, leaving the overlay on the face. 5. On the 2 larger faces, peel back and snip off the lower backing that covers the hole where the needles will protrude. Be sure to leave the upper half of the backing on the overlay for you to hold when adjusting the alignment on the next step. 6. With the needle pointing up, slip the overlay down over the needle, placing the needle through the hole of the overlay. Align the numbers evenly and press down, adhering it to the face. Point the needle toward the bottom and remove the rest of the backing from the overlay and press it firmly to the face. 7. Gently pull the top layer of transfer tape up, leaving the overlay on the face. Steering Decal 1. Trim the steering decal around its edges. This will help when you align it to the steering cover. 2. Peel back and remove the backing and then re-stick it back on creating a "T" shape and creating a handle for you to hold. Align it up to the letters and press it firmly on top of the letters. Gently remove the top transfer tape. Rub down the overlay to make sure it is fully adhered. 3. Reinstall everything in the reverse order. NOTE: Be sure to clear the inside of the cluster of dust and finger prints before installing the clear lens back on to the instrument housing. |
